Come on out to another swine club meeting on Tuesday January 28th at 7:00 pm. Dave and Lauren DeVries will be speaking about the process of building a new sow barn and some of the operating systems that they have in place. Location is ANNU 204. See you there!
Clair Doan from National Bank is coming to speak to us on what kind of ratios they look for when loaning money to dairy farmers and what you can do to make sure you get the loan! As always pizza and chocolate milk will be provided
At this week's meeting, Angela Xie, one of our Event Coordinators, will be presenting on raw diets for dogs. She will compare them to commercial diets, representation in media, and the pros and cons of the diet. Come out to meet others with an interest in animals and to participate in our discussion afterwards!

Come out to hear from two PhD students in the Department of Pathobiology at the University of Guelph. They are working on developing a genomics test in the beef industry to identify animals that are the healthiest in your herd. This could influence your future breeding decisions.
